About Struct CADD Sector (SCADDS)
Being practicing Structural Engineers and having handled hundreds of consulting projects varying from Multistorey Buildings & Industrial Sheds to Roads & Railway Bridges, Stadia Structures and Towers, our principal policy is that our software solutions – either sold off-the-shelf or custom-developed to meet specific requirements – must absolutely satisfy the purpose for which it is developed and implemented. SCADDS was founded by Narayanan Kameswaran in 1992, with this vision in mind.
We are different. We spend 80% of the time doing research in refining and optimizing the software architecture to ensure 100% delivery of its functions. The remaining 20% goes into coding. That’s 80:20 principle well implemented!

SCADDS/Building Estimator 2002
won the prestigious ACCE-CDC AWARD at the National Level for the Best Software Package in Civil Engineering for the year 2003.
SCADDS/Nucleus 2007
was launched in 2006 integrating 3D Modeling, Load Generation, Analysis, RC Design & Optimization, Layout Drafting, Reinforcement Detailing with Bar Bending Schedules, Quantity Estimation and Report generation. It became an instant hit among practicing Structural Engineers and Builders.
